LVT Trunk World Cup 2026-

Louis Vuitton has unveiled its bespoke Trophy Trunk for the FIFA World Cup 2026 ahead of Sunday's final at New York New Jersey Stadium, continuing a partnership that has become one of football's most recognisable ceremonial traditions. The French luxury house will once again present the handcrafted case that transports and displays football's biggest prize before the final. Spain and Argentina will clash together to secure the World Cup Title 2026

The 2026 edition marks the fifth consecutive FIFA World Cup for which Louis Vuitton has created the official Trophy Trunk, extending a collaboration that began with the 2010 tournament in South Africa.

The 2026 edition marks the fifth consecutive FIFA World Cup for which Louis Vuitton has created the official Trophy Trunk, extending a collaboration that began with the 2010 tournament in South Africa. The fashion house also produced trunks for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the 2018 edition in Russia and the 2022 tournament in Qatar. As FIFA's Official Supplier and Branded Licensee, Louis Vuitton says the partnership reflects a shared focus on craftsmanship, prestige and celebrating sporting excellence.

The Trophy Trunk has been handcrafted by Louis Vuitton artisans at the Maison's historic workshops in Asnières-sur-Seine near Paris. It features the brand's signature Monogram canvas in its classic brown and gold finish, preserving a design language that has remained consistent across every World Cup edition. Built to safely transport one of sport's most valuable prizes, the case combines traditional craftsmanship with functional protection, reflecting techniques the luxury house has refined over more than 160 years. Several bespoke design elements distinguish this year's trunk. Two front panels display a hand-painted golden "V", representing both "Victory" and "Vuitton", while also mirroring the colours of the FIFA World Cup Trophy. The exterior includes leather trim known as lozines, gold-plated brass corner protectors and locks inspired by Louis Vuitton's archival designs dating back to the 1860s. Inside, the trunk is lined with light beige leather and carries a co-branded Louis Vuitton-FIFA logo beneath the lid.

Beyond the official Trophy Trunk, Louis Vuitton has also introduced a limited-edition collection inspired by the design. The range includes three luxury trunks carrying the same golden "V" motif and hand-painted FIFA World Cup Trophy artwork. According to the company, the collection is part of its branded licensing agreement with FIFA, allowing collectors to own pieces influenced by the official case used during football's biggest tournament, even though the original remains reserved exclusively for the trophy.

Louis Vuitton Chairman and CEO Pietro Beccari :
"The partnership with FIFA reflects a long-standing commitment to excellence and the unifying power of sport. FIFA Chief Business Officer Romy Gai described the Trophy Trunk as an appropriate showcase for the world's most coveted football prize. The FIFA World Cup Trophy itself weighs 6.175 kilograms and is crafted from 18-carat gold with a malachite base. As in previous tournaments, it will be carried onto the pitch by a FIFA legend alongside a Louis Vuitton ambassador before the final ceremony.
